WINNIPEG -- With a spring snowstorm coming down on parts of Manitoba, a number of schools across the province have been forced to close due to weather and road conditions. The following is a list of school closures and bus cancellations for April 13, 2021: All schools in the Lord Selkirk School Division are closed. Buses are not running and staff are not expected to report to work. All schools are closed in the Sunrise School Division, and staff should stay at home. Schools are closed in the Evergreen School Division. Buses are not running. Schools are closed and buses aren’t running in the Swan Valley School Division.

Winnipeg has received about 20 centimetres so far, with more than half of that coming overnight into Tuesday morning. The city and areas closer to the international border were not initially included in Monday's snowfall warning but that changed in the afternoon. Winnipeg and areas south and southeast of it were added as the system muscled its way into more regions.

The following schools and buses are closed on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021: All schools in the Prairie Rose School Division are closed. Staff are asked to work from home. Schools are closed and buses are cancelled in the Evergreen School Division. All schools are closed in the DSFM. The Garden Valley School Division said all schools will be closed. Based on the school division's policy on its website regarding weather closures, it says staff are required to work at the school if it is possible.
