Prevented. we see calm in the square. we see the armies still standing between the promubarak forces and we see what appear to be fruitful and real negotiations happening. the government has rallied around him. yet we have this economic squeeze happening as well. and so there. i would say right now the u.s. is open to either solution where mubarak remains in egypt maybe at a seaside resort or a solution where he leaves the country entirely. i don't think the obama adm administration has an opinion on this. i think they want this transition process to begin now.
