City Catering Southampton staff. A CATERING charity is set to host a Summer Walkathon to promote healthier eating habits for children. City Catering is planning to launch its second walk fundraiser of the year this summer as it takes another step forward to promote healthy eating in the city. Taking place between June 28 and August 31, the fundraising event is aimed at raising money for the Southampton charity's Lunch Crowd and Cooking at Home initiatives. These schemes provide support to schools and the community, for free, to ensure families and at-risk households who may otherwise go hungry, can access nutritious meals.
