Nigerian Army Threatens To Arrest Plateau Cleric Who Alleged Soldiers' Bias In Religious Conflict, Says Suspects Arrested For Burning, Looting In Mangu
The Nigerian Army says it has arrested some suspects involved in the burning and looting of properties amid the religious crisis in the Mangu area of Plateau State. This was stated in a press statement issued by Brig. Gen. Tukur Gusau, Acting Director of Defence Information, on Thursday morning in response to the claims made by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) chairman of Mangu Local Government Area in Plateau State, Rev Timothy Daluk. In the viral video, Daluk accused the military of bias and sentimentality in resolving the unrest in Mangu.
