Kentucky this week. with the results of the republican primary for governor still up in the air this morning. tea party favorite matt beven holds an 83 vote lead. each of the candidates has baggage. no matter who wins the primary democrats will have a chance in the election. making this the most competitive election of 2015. this is a story about 2016. it s a reminder that kentucky isn t nessaerls a red state. it did vote for mccain in 2008. there are more registered democrats than republicans. the state s current governor is republican. kentucky has elected one republican governor in the last 40 years. kentucky is part of a group of unique states. they have deep democratic ....
a fresh member. that s the argument that was not made. and meanwhile you had this other miscalculation where someone like eric cantor seemingly gets scared and decides to go up with big spending where he keeps repeating the name of his challenger and you don t ever do that. mitch mcconnell s ad, i don t think he had a single ad that said matt beven. there s a reasonable for that. the video that made the counts of the county convention about a month ago where eric cantor goes back and he starts attacking brat as a liberal college professor and the tea party audience rallying to the college professor. it just did not it strategically did not work. but, again, you have to be attentive to your district. you have to be smart about how you handle this and i think that he made a series of mistakes here. i don t know that we can extrapolate them and apply them more broadly but it s a district-by-district race. if the district had more morton steakhouses. maybe. michael steele, ....
And wolf in kansas. he is second cousin of obama but compares obama to hitler and posts x rays of dead people to the internet and makes jokes about it. and matt beven running against mcconnell who says he was against the bailout who was in favor of the bailout. it is not principle conservatives. it is a civil war within the republican party. i did this the other night because this guy wolf, these guys are crazy people. they are saying stuff you would never nominate them if you had an election. this group like this madison project, they find these people and say anybody crazy enough to run against incumbent republican senator is our guy. and then they lose in that battle or come to washington and get consumed by the process and become establishment politicians. ted cruz is determined not to do that. how do you know he is a fraud? i have heard that story around ....
