'When I broke my spine I had to find a new hobby'
What inspired you to get into photography? I’ll cut a long story short. I broke my spine in two places – this is now fixed, which is great, but the hobbies I did before, I wasn’t able to do, so my wife and children said, “there’s a camera, you like taking photos so go and do something with it”, so that’s what I did. I’m self taught, but my dad John taught me few things and the rest was YouTube videos and I’ve gone on from there. Max Coates What was your first camera? My first camera was a Fuji pic Bridge and then I went to a Nikon d3100.
