Meghan, Harry and their 21-month-old son Archie are currently living more than 5,000 miles away in California.
Royal author Katie Nicholl explained the Royal Family are “over the moon” with Meghan’s pregnancy, but insisted it is “tinged with sadness” as they will not get to see little tot very much.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Ms Nicholl said: "The family will be over the moon for Harry and Meghan.
“It's another great-grandchild for the Queen and fifth grandchild for the Prince of Wales.

The Queen finally drew the ongoing discussion about Harry and Meghan Markle’s ties to the Royal Family to a close this month, when she stripped them of their royal patronages. Her dramatic move followed confirmation from the couple that they did not want to return to the royal fold 11 months on from their departure. The Queen released a statement, which explained that it was not “possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service”.

Meanwhile, Meghan has been removed as patron of the Royal National Theatre and as vice-president of The Queen's Commonwealth Trust.
The outcome of the so-called Megxit review, does mean Harry can keep his links to a number of organisations, including the Invictus Games, the Rhino Conservation Botswana charity and WellChild.
The Duchess has also maintained her affiliation to Smart Works and animal charity Mayhew.

The royal expert says Meghan and Harry will be treated in the same way as other non-working royals, such as Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, and points out this change should not be deemed as a “punishment”.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry risked irritating the British royal family by holding a secret meeting with California Governor Gavin Newsom. The couple's summit with the top U.S. Democrat was unveiled in a memo seen by The Sun.
According to the U.K.'s news outlet, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent an hour chatting to Newsom. The virtual conference reportedly took place on October 19, two weeks before the presidential election, while the governor was in the midst of deciding who would fill Vice President Kamala Harris' spot in the U.S. Senate. The governor ultimately selected Alex Padilla to succeed Harris.
