After more than two months of studying at home during the winter lockdown, children across Nottinghamshire are heading back to school today (March 8).
Most primary schools are expected to be open for all children on Monday, while secondary schools will have a phased return this week so Covid tests can be carried out.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson hailed the return as an important first step towards a "sense of normality".
