March is Reading month was held at Hillsdale Preparatory School.

Students at Hillsdale Preparatory School met their goal and then some for March is Reading Month.
"We have had a lot of fun things happening for March is Reading month and have finally finished our reading month fun," administrative assistant Melody Henthorne said. "We set a school-wide goal to read 35,000 minutes by the end of the month. The kids did reach their goal and got to tape Mrs. Fowler (head of school) to the wall. As a school, we actually read a total of 44,136 minutes!"
The theme for the month was "Reading Is Out Of This World," so all of the prizes centered around space, Henthorne added. Kids earned prizes like space themed candy, fun Friday, stem day and a space-themed lunch.

HILLSDALE - The staff at Hillsdale Preparatory School are the recipients of a staff-lounge makeover, providing a comfortable setting with new furniture.
"We received a Meemic Foundation grant for $10,000 worth of furniture for the staff lounge over the summer," administrative assistant Melody Henthorne said. "We have worked with the company to pick out all new furniture and it was just delivered. Our staff is so deserving of this awesome makeover. The new refrigerator is on back-order and will hopefully be here soon, but everything else was delivered."
