Meteor Lights up Florida Sky in Video After Asteroid Flies Past Earth
On 4/13/21 at 7:14 AM EDT
Floridians took to social media to share incredible videos of a flash of light that lit up the night sky as an asteroid passed Earth.
A meteor fragment was spotted burning up in Earth's atmosphere above Florida on Monday night, prompting many to share slips of the event on Twitter.
Meteorologists shared various shots filmed by Florida residents, with numerous clips showing the space rock shoot across the sky before burning up at around 10:20 p.m.

If you saw a bright flash in the sky late last night in South Florida, you weren't alone. According to the National Weather Service in Tampa Bay, they received reports that a meteor estimated to be the size of a car, burned up over South Florida just after 10pm EST. Their Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM) captured the meteor as it burned up over the coast.
Watch some of the incredible videos captured below. Most of which came from front door ring cameras! A meteorologist reposted a wilke video from Polk county below... it seems all of South Florida had this spectacular view!

2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Tripper Pod-enabled Bluetooth Console Details Revealed

The new Classic 350 will use the same 349cc counterbalanced thumper as the Meteor 350.
Its foundations will be significantly better than the current UCE model.
It was expected to go on sale by May but COVID-19 might have disrupted certain plans.
We have already seen a lot of the upcoming J-platform Royal Enfield Classic 350. We know that it is going to use the new-gen thumper from the Meteor 350, the double-cradle frame is also going to be the same and the Tripper navigational module is going to be a standard fitment. While we had
spotted the console earlier, this time round we have all of the details that the small digital inset will be relaying.

Particles of a Meteor Explosion From 430,000 Years Ago Found Hidden in Antarctic Ice

Particles of a Meteor Explosion From 430,000 Years Ago Found Hidden in Antarctic Ice
Approximately 430,000 years ago, a meteorite exploded over Antarctica.
The only reason we know about it now is because scientists have just found tiny, once-molten particles of space rock that have been hidden away in the ice ever since.

Based on an analysis of those particles, the event was an unusual one - not quite powerful enough to produce an impact crater, but nor was it a lightweight. The jet of melted and vaporized material that blasted from the mid-air explosion would have been more hazardous than the Tunguska event that flattened a Siberian forest in 1908.

UK-led research has discovered new evidence of 430,000-year-old meteor particles in an ancient sheet of ice in Antarctica which could change the way scientists consider future asteroids

Volcano eruptions happen almost once every four days across the entire world, with up to 80 usually record in any given year. But eruptions on Earth would look entirely different to those on other planets or asteroids, scientists have revealed, because not all planets are made entirely of rock.

The French Air and Space Army and the Navy signed the operational entry-into-service agreement of the F3-R standard, the most advanced version of the Rafale jet.
The operational commissioning (MSO) of the F3-R standard is the final stage of the program which formalizes the opening of all the expected capacities.
The new features operationalized are the Meteor missile, the GBU-16 laser-guided bomb and the TALIOS targeting pod. As part of this ramp-up, the French Air and Space Army carried out its first operational flight with a Rafale equipped with Meteor war-bearing missiles on Thursday, March 4.

NGC 1808 Starburst Galaxy in Columba - Astronomy Magazine - Interactive Star Charts, Planets, Meteors, Comets, Telescopes

763
NGC 1808 is barred spiral galaxy located in the southern constellation of Columba. It was discovered by Scottish astronomer James Dunlop from Australia, who describe it as a "faint nebula". It is a barred spiral with marked similarities to our home Milky Way Galaxy. NGC 1808 is distinguished by a peculiar nucleus, an unusually warped disk, and strange flows of hydrogen gas out from the central regions. Amidst all of this, because NGC 1808 is undergoing with intense star formation activity it has been deemed a starburst galaxy. NGC 1808 is relatively close to our Milky Way, and spans in about 35,000 light-years.

UFO Seen by Many in Siberia Over the Infamous 'Road of Bones'

If a UFO falls in Siberia, can any Russian officials agree on what it was? If the recent bright ball of flaming UFO recorded passing over the village of Ust-Nera is any indication, the answer is a resounding “Nyet!” Some say rocket, some say meteor, some say falling batteries (really!), but no one seems to be saying “Da, I agree with you.” Could it have something to do with the fact that the road leading into Ust-Nera is called the “Road of Bones”?
“A video from the remote, frozen northern Russian village of Ust-Nera has gone viral online after locals spotted a seemingly burning unidentified flying object, with a clearly visible trail in the pitch-black Siberian night sky. Ust-Nera, which has a population of around 5,000, is one of the world’s coldest permanently inhabited settlements, with current temperatures dropping to around -32C at night. Founded in the 1930s, it is located on what is known as the ‘Road of Bones’.”

NGC 3372 BRIGHT NEBULA COMPLEX IN CARINA - Astronomy Magazine - Interactive Star Charts, Planets, Meteors, Comets, Telescopes

The Eta Carinae Nebula is one of the largest region of ionized hydrogen gas in our Galaxy. Expanded in a distance of 260 light years it has seven times the size of the Orion Nebula. The photograph only shows a partial view of the complex. The Nebula has produced the Star Eta Carina which is among of the most massive and luminous star in our Milky Way. NGC 3372 present us its generous detail and regions formed of bright and dark interstellar matter. The Eta Carinae Nebula was discovered by Abble Lacaille during his 2-year journey to the Cape of Good Hope in 1751/1752.

Messier 106 in Canes Venatici - Astronomy Magazine - Interactive Star Charts, Planets, Meteors, Comets, Telescopes

315
Messier 106 is a spiral galaxy lying 22 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is a Seyfert galaxy with an active nucleus emitting radio waves and X-rays due to presence of a supermassive black hole actively consuming matter within its core. Violent churning of spiral arms, dust clouds, and sprays of ionized hydrogen can be seen revolving around the nucleus. The the irregular galaxy to its lower left is UGC7356 which lies at a similar distance and the edge on spiral galaxy to its lower right is NGC 4248 which lies 24 million light-years away. Other faint, distant galaxies can be seen scattered around the image.
