Another NFL Draft has come and gone and Oklahoma State has four new draftees entering the league with several more signing UDFA contracts. Each player is entering a new and unique situation that will shape their pro careers. With that being said, the depth chart per position per team for each of OSU new draftees could have a significant impact on how much each player might see the field next season. Let’s look at each situation

Should the Chiefs reach on Alex Leatherwood?

Should the Chiefs reach on Alex Leatherwood?

Many people would not think that a unanimous All American selection, Outland Trophy winner, and two-time national championship would be a reach in the late first round. However, that seems to be the case with Alex Leatherwood.
Leatherwood was a five-star recruit who played in all four seasons for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He replaced first-round pick Jonah Williams as the blindside protector, and the transition was seamless. He started 26 games at left tackle and received numerous awards, accolades, and conference selections. To boot, Alabama won the national championship during Leatherwood's freshman and senior seasons, a fitting introduction and sendoff.

Packers Prospect Primer: Virginia Tech OT Christian Darrisaw

If the Packers want an offensive tackle who could help them right away, but also offers the upside to be an even better player down the road, then look no further than the mountainous Christian Darrisaw.

draft. This is aimed at getting you ready for the 2021 class before Brian Gutkunst and Co. make selections. We take a look at the kinds of players the Packers tend to like at positions of need. That way you’re ready when they make a pick.
The NFL Draft often devolves into an exercise in overthought. Too much off time leads to paralysis by analysis or some other comparable cliche where teams, scouts, and media evaluators decide a prospect isn’t scintillating enough or merely get bored and decide to pick. Sometimes, for whatever reason, we miss the prospects who are right in front of our faces because they’re not sexy to talk about because they’re just really good and that’s that.

The 2021 NFL Draft is an interesting one for pass rushers. While there are players reckoned to be at the top of the draft board for pass rushers, there isn’t a single dominant player setting the pace for the field. Instead there is a whole pack of EDGE players with their own strengths and weaknesses, each trying to set himself apart from the others.
Miami’s Quincy Roche — who transferred to Miami from Temple for the 2020 season — distinguished himself during the week of Senior Bowl practices. Over those days he was a consistent presence in the backfield on both one-on-one drills and in team periods. At points during the week, Roche was seemingly everywhere, blowing up both running and passing plays.

American Team Bama Prospects: Mixed Results On Senior Bowl Day 1

American Team Bama Prospects: Mixed Results On Senior Bowl Day 1
Starting with Deonte Brown, not much was seen from Brown virtually
(Because of the rain delay I wasn't in attendance, hopefully the weather agrees tomorrow and we can have tighter coverage.) Brown reportedly took some snaps at center. I did get eyes on him in some individual drills, but the highlight of his day remains weighing in at 364lbs at the measurements Tuesday morning.
As the week progresses we'll know more about Brown and how his stock has changed, if at all.
His teammate Alex Leatherwood did not appear to have a great day.  The lower body stiffness and his arm length let him down in one-on-one pass protection drills against Miami's Quincy Roche and UAB's Jordan Smith.

Workouts are underway, and the Eagles, who own the sixth overall pick in April’s NFL Draft, should be paying attention to several positions. The Eagles aren’t likely to be heavy players in free agency due to their pending cap situation, so the draft will need to be the solution to their depth problems.
Here are seven positions the Eagles’ scouts should key in on this week at the Senior Bowl:
Cornerback
The Eagles are likely to rework their entire secondary this offseason. While the Eagles could choose to spend the sixth overall pick on a cornerback, the franchise’s history shows that’s not likely to be the case. With only Darius Slay as a sure thing at the position, the Eagles might need to double-dip at corner anyway. Paying attention to the position in Mobile will go a long way in a Combine-less offseason.

Despite strong finish, Titans must address 30th-ranked pass rush

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Entering the 2020 season, the Tennessee Titans were determined to upgrade their pass rush. GM Jon Robinson's biggest free-agent moves involved one-year deals to Vic Beasley ($9.5 million) and Jadeveon Clowney ($12.5 million).
Tennessee didn't get a single sack from either player, but Clowney at least provided six QB hits before being placed on injured reserve on Nov. 21. The Titans released Beasley on Nov. 4.
Despite struggling to get home for most of the season, the Titans finished the regular season with four sacks in their 41-28 win over the Houston Texans. Then they posted five sacks in their 20-13 wild-card game loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Free-agent outside linebacker Brooks Reed was added to the practice squad on Nov. 28 and registered sacks in both games.
