Grand jury returns tampering charge in deadly shooting
A 20-year-old Lubbock man arrested in connection with a deadly December shooting in Central Lubbock was indicted Tuesday for allegedly hindering the investigation by concealing the firearm investigators believe was used in the shooting. Isaiah Guartuche is charged with a third-degree felony count of tampering or fabricating evidence, which carries a punishment of two to 10 years in prison. Guartuche was initially arrested on Dec. 6 on a warrant charging him with murder.
