Connecticut former lawmaker DiMassa pleaded guilty to three counts of conspiracy to commit fraud
Connecticut's Michael DiMassa, a former Democratic state representative, stole about $1.2 million in pandemic relief money.
DiMassa, whose signature authority over the COVID money put him at the center of the conspiracy, pleaded guilty early in the investigation and as part of his cooperation agreement, agreed to testify against Trasacco, who was convicted of fraud and conspiracy at trial.
