Alexandria truck bypass pitched in Main Street study
Article content The groundwork is being laid for a potential truck bypass around the Village of Alexandria. SDG council received the first of what will be several updates on an environmental assessment being conducted for the stretch of County Road 34 that runs through the village, also known as Main Street. The study is considering solutions for problems that have plagued the village’s main north-south throughfare, and will make recommendations the county can use for improvements.
