Mortal Kombat fans really want a remaster of
Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, a 2005 action-adventure beat 'em up, and a spin-off from Midway Games and Ed Boon, the latter of which is not just the co-creator of the series, but the current creative director of the series. That said, while fans have expressed their desire to see the series return every year since, it's largely gone unnoticed, until now.

Mortal Kombat 2021: 4K Blu-ray Pre-Orders, Release Date, and Special Features
The Mortal Kombat reboot had a pretty successful release in theaters and on HBO Max considering the circumstances, and we expect that there are plenty more fans waiting to see it on Blu-ray and digital. If you're one of them, we now have details on when you'll be able to own the film on Blu-ray, 4K Blu-ray, and 4K Blu-ray (SteelBook) + Digital.
UPDATE: Since the Mortal Kombat Blu-rays first went up for pre-order back in May, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has confirmed the release date as July 13th, 2021. They have also released the list of special features which can be found below.

Mortal Kombat 11 Update Makes Some Changes to the Characters

A new Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate update is live on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. At the moment of publishing, it's not available on PC or Google Stadia, and there's no word of when this will change. What we do have are the patch notes for the update, which reveal it's focused on character changes.
More specifically, the update makes balancing changes to the following characters: Sheeva, Joker, Cetrion, Robocop, Fujin, Rambo, and Shao Khan. Beyond changes to these characters the update does nothing, or if it does, it's noted in the patch notes.
