She was travelling along the Gladstone-Mt Larcom Road when her vehicle was hit by a truck which was travelling south on the Bruce Highway. She was entrapped in her vehicle for some time before the emergency services, QAS and RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue flight crew were able to free her from her vehicle. A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said manual traffic lights were set up by Department of Transport and Main Roads. The latest update on Queensland Traffic at 9.18am states speeds have been reduced due to a damaged guardrail in the area.
