STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. As coronavirus (COVID-19) cases continue to spike in New York, with millions scrambling to get tested following the winter holidays, Staten Islanders are once again experiencing inordinate wait times at some testing locations.
On Tuesday morning, a long line of residents was wrapped around the CityMD in New Springville before the location had even opened for the day, leaving late arrivals waiting hours in first a physical, and then virtual, line. ....

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday asked New Yorkers to stay off the road as much as possible as the city braces for “a disruptive storm” that should be taken seriously.
“If you are planning to drive tomorrow to work or to anything else, please do not take your car particularly into Manhattan or any place else tomorrow because when you get to the evening rush hour that snow could already be a major factor,” de Blasio said during a press conference. ....
