Yashodhararaje Scindia, a minister in Madhya Pradesh and a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has expressed her unwillingness to contest the upcoming Assembly polls in the state due to health reasons. Scindia, who had contracted COVID-19 four times, explained to the party leadership that she was unable to campaign extensively and remain connected with her constituency. She needs at least six months to recover and requires rest to overcome exhaustion.
