When $1.1m Mackay region boat ramp upgrades will start
The works, partly funded by the Federal Government's Building Better Regions Funding program, were recently awarded to a contractor and are expected to be completed by the end of June. They are part of the MRC's 'Mackay Regional Recreational Fishing Strategy 2017" aimed at improving facilities to meet "anticipated demand".
