IPO Listing: MTAR Technologies Makes A Stellar Debut, Lists At 85% Premium

MTAR Technologies manufactures equipment for aerospace, defence and nuclear energy sectors
MTAR Technologies made a blockbuster debut on the bourses this morning. The shares listed at listed at Rs 1,063.90 on BSE, a 85.03 per cent premium over its issue price of Rs 575. On the NSE, the stock debuted at Rs 1,050, a premium of 82.6 per cent.
MTAR Technologies' initial public offering (IPO) had received an overwhelming response from the investors. The IPO was subscribed 200.79 times, receiving total bids for 145.79 crore shares as against 72.60 lakh shares on offer.
Ahead of the MTAR Technologies IPO the company had raised Rs 179 crore from 15 anchor investors which included marquee foreign investors such as Nomura Funds, Ireland Public Limited Company, Jupiter South Asia Investment Company, White Oak Capital and Goldman Sachs.

NEW DELHI: MTAR Technologies is likely to finalise the basis of share allotment for its recently concluded IPO on Wednesday. The initial public offer (IPO), which attracted a massive 201 times bids last week, has seen its premium surge to Rs 530 apiece in the grey market from Rs 430 a few days ago.
This is after the issue received 651 times subscription to its HNI quota, 165 times bids from qualified institutional buyers (QIB category) and 28 times demand from retail investors.
The Hyderabad-based precision engineering company manufactures critical and differentiated engineered products for nuclear, space and defence and clean energy and owns seven manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad, including an export-oriented unit.

कंपनी का इश्यू बिडिंग के आखिरी दिन (शुक्रवार) को 200 गुना से ज्यादा रिकॉर्ड सब्सक्राइब हुआ। इससे पहले मिसेज बैक्टर्स का आईपीओ अंतिम दिन 197.95 गुना भरा था।
ग्रे मार्केट में एमटीएआर टेक के शेयरों का प्राइस 85 प्रतिशत ऊपर चल रहा है। यानी इसमें लिस्टिंग के दिन निवेशकों (इन्वेस्टर्स) को अच्छी कमाई होने वाली है। हाल के आईपीओ की बात करें तो हेरांबा और रेल टेल ने भी निवेशकों की झोली भरी है।
एमटीएआर 72.6 लाख शेयर बेच रही है जबकि उसको 145.79 करोड़ शेयरों के लिए एप्लिकेशन प्राप्त हुए हैं। कंपनी को रिटेल इन्वेस्टर से 28.4 गुना और क्वॉलिफाइड इंस्टीट्यूशनल बायर्स से 165 गुना सब्सक्रिप्शन मिला।
नॉन इंस्टीट्यूशनल इनवेस्टर्स ने अपने लिए रिजर्व कोटे के मुकाबले 650.79 गुना शेयरों के लिए अप्लाई किया। कंपनी ने मंगलवार को एंकर इनवेस्टर्स से 179 करोड़ रुपये जुटाए।
एमटीएआर का इश्यू पहले दिन ही सब्सक्राइब हो गया था। कंपनी आईपीओ में 123.52 करोड़ रुपये के 21,48,149 के फ्रेश इक्विटी शेयर ऑफर कर रही है। इसमें उसके शेयर होल्डर भी 473 करोड़ रुपये के 82,24,270 इक्विटी शेयर बेच रहे हैं।
कंपनी के द्वारा इश्यू के लिए 574 से 575 रुपये का प्राइस बैंड तय किया गया है।
