Stacks and stacks of cars went up in flames at a salvage yard. that tops our news from across the nation. it happened in southern california, sun valley. five cars started burning late friday. several explosions spread that fire and about 20 cars sent up a huge plume of smoke into the air. firefighters say the junk vehicles had been drained of gas, so there was no threat to nearby residents and no injuries were reported. in northern utah, mud slide closes a state highway. a hillside gave way on highway 39 thursday evening. two cars were hit, no one injured. road crews were trying to clear th...
