Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has assured the people that the government is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of citizens as Cyclone Remal is expected to bring severe weather to parts of Assam.

Government of Assam has taken extensive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens in light of the impending increase in rainfall and wind speeds due to Cyclone Remal, which will make landfall on May 26 at West Bengal and Bangladesh and move northwards towards the Northeast.
