Vietnam reported 33 new COVID-19 cases on February 14 evening, including 31 infections in the northern province of Hai Duong and two others in the capital city of Hanoi.

The new cases brought the total number of infections in Vietnam to 2,228, including 1,330 domestically-transmitted cases, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
Among the locally-infected cases, there are 637 patients detected since the latest outbreaks hit the northern region on January 27.

La Vie donates mineral water to quarantine areas and hospital in pandemic-hit provinces

La Vie LLC has donated 45,000 litres of mineral water to quarantine areas and hospitals in Hai Duong and Quang Ninh provinces to support the localities in overcoming the COVID-19 outbreak.
La Vie teamed up with the Women's Union of Hai Duong province to provide mineral water bottles to quarantine areas in Chi Linh city on February 4
The company is joining forces with the Women's Union of Hai Duong province, Hope Foundation, and authorities to support 45,000 litres of mineral water to quarantine areas, field hospital, and clinics providing treatment to COVID-19 patients in Ha Long city in Quang Ninh, as well as Chi Linh city and Nam Sach district in Hai Duong. This is part of La Vie’s efforts to support front line workers fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many areas in Vietnam have been placed under lockdowns following the latest Covid-19 outbreak featuring a rapidly transmitting U.K.-originated variant.
The northern province of Hai Duong, the country's biggest hotspot in the new outbreak that struck last Thursday, imposed a 21-day lockdown starting January 28 after dozens of workers of a Taiwanese-run firm were found infected with the novel coronavirus.

HCM City reports one COVID-19 case linked to Hai Duong
