Vehicle insurance firms fined for allegedly fixing car repair prices

Vehicle insurance firms fined for allegedly fixing car repair prices Two vehicle insurance firms have agreed to pay a fine in a settlement agreement but investigations into five other firms are still ongoing. The Namibian Competition Commission has fined insurance firms, Santam Namibia and Hollard Insurance Company of Namibia, N$20.5 million for alleged “unintentional” price fixing, related to vehicle repair work, in a settlement agreement.
