Bantwal, Jan 29: At the house of Narayan Bhat from Billampadavu, Vittal in the taluk, monkeys share the food along with other family members. Yes, this farmer has proved that battle with the monkeys which used to damage his farms can be won through love and friendship with the animals.
When it is time to consume food, along with family members of Narayan Bhat, some unique guests partake food. In the past, areca and coconuts grown by Narayan Bhat used to be scattered around during the whole year, half eaten by animals. But this scene has not been recurring now.
