NRL 2021, Manly Sea Eagles, Tom Trbojevic, Brett Stewart, Graham Eadie, will Turbo be Manly's best ever fullback

Tom Trbojevic's stocks are rising by the week as he leads Manly back into finals contention but where does he rank alongside the club's best-ever fullbacks?
The Sea Eagles have been blessed with a host of fine custodians dating back to Bob Batty in the 60s and early 70s, Hall of Famer Graham "Wombat" Eadie, Kiwi point-scoring machine Matthew Ridge and the Prince of Brookvale, Brett Stewart.
On current form Tom Turbo may zoom past them all but there's plenty of water to pass under the Narrabeen Bridge before that comes to pass.
Each of Manly's eight premiership sides have been driven from the back by a gun No.1 and Trbojevic will be looking to one day join that exclusive group.

Australia Fights to Keep UK Strain at Bay

Australia Fights to Keep UK Strain at Bay
As highly infectious mutant strains of COVID-19 spread globally, Australia is fighting hard to keep them at bay.
Victoria, NSW and the Northern Territory all revealed positive cases of the virulent UK strain in hotel quarantine on January 9, while Brisbane and surrounding communities were in lockdown because of one locally acquired UK strain case.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said on Saturday Australians should assume mutated COVID-19 variants emanating from the United Kingdom and South Africa will become the world’s dominant strains due to their contagiousness.
She also said mask usage is likely to be mandatory in her state for the foreseeable future.

NSW's three new coronavirus cases, close contacts that contact tracers missed, were out and about in the community while infectious, the state's chief health officer has admitted.
The new cases come as thousands of Sydney residents celebrate "Freedom Day" after being stuck in lockdown since before Christmas.
The three new cases, two linked to the Berala cluster and one to the northern beaches cluster, are all close contacts of known cases.
Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant on Sunday told reporters contact tracers had only recently identified the three as close contacts.

Residents in Northern Beaches celebrate first day of freedom as COVID lockdown FINALLY ends

More than 70,000 residents on Sydney's Northern Beaches have celebrated their first taste of freedom in three weeks as the region's draconian Covid lockdown was finally lifted at midnight.
Suburbs north of Narrabeen Bridge, known as the northern zone, have been under stay-at-home orders since December 19.
They have not been allowed to leave the zone and were only given permission to leave their homes for essential shopping, healthcare reasons or exercise.
Mona Vale Beach was packed with families and groups of young people on Sunday, with locals making the most of the 28C weather.
Further north at Avalon Beach, hundreds of beachgoers were seen sprawled out on the sand and in the water.

The end of the three-week lockdown at Sydney's northern beaches is being met with joy from residents, but many business owners fear it will not bring the relief they need to stay afloat.
Key points:
The area has been included in a pilot stimulus package from the State Government
The area will adopt the same restrictions as Greater Sydney from 12:01am Sunday
NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard said the decision was made to move out of lockdown despite some "anxiety" around an untraced COVID-19 case in the area.

Earlier on Friday, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced Greater Brisbane would enter a three-day lockdown after a cleaner at a quarantine hotel was diagnosed with the more infectious UK virus strain.

NSW has recorded one new locally-acquired case of COVID-19 as Australia faces an anxious wait to see if a highly contagious UK variant of the virus has spread from Brisbane.
