India nepal: India allows Nepal to sell electricity in the real time market
India has granted Nepal permission to sell electricity generated from two hydropower projects in its real-time energy market. This is the first time that India has given project-wise approval, allowing Nepal to sell hydroelectricity in India's Real-Time Market (RTM). In the first phase, 44 MW of electricity generated from the Lower Modi and Kabeli B-1 hydropower projects will be traded in the real-time market.
