I'm meteorologist Haley Lapointe. Here's an update on your holiday weekend forecast. It'll be dry all through the weekend with sunshine and some clouds. Temperatures on Saturday in the forties will be a little milder on Easter Sunday itself in the mid fifties, something to be aware of through your Saturday very high fire danger. We have a little breeze kicking up, which can cause fires to spread fast and the dry ground. The brush were pre green up in a lot of spots, so if there were to be a fire, it can move very fast. No outdoor burning today, and we have a red flag warning for pretty much the entire state. Clear skies, a lot of sunshine expected as we go through the next 24 hours or so. Then, eventually, a storm system out over the Canadian Maritimes will form, and that will actually back toward us and bring some extra cloud cover to the eastern half of the state on Easter Sunday. So today sunshine temperatures warm up into the forties for the most part. This afternoon, a few places through the Merrimack Valley may get close to 50 degrees, but be a little bit of a cooler field despite the sunshine. Then, as we get into our Sunday increased clouds and watch, you can kind of see the clouds back down out of Maine through the afternoon and into the evening. But temperatures in the fifties that same storm system sticks around into Monday, even Tuesday, giving us a lot of cloud cover. Today, those sunny skies, a cool feel red flag warning. So no open burning. And then tonight, clear skies with temperatures in the teens and twenties, Easter Sunday temperatures in the fifties, the great for those Easter egg guns outside, and it'll be dry. Partly sunny Monday, Tuesday, sun and clouds. Then we really start to see the overcast skies by midweek showers, likely by Friday.
