我看到立看到我画的小女孩和毛线团的素描后非常喜欢而写下诗歌，《小女孩与毛线团》，《a little girl and ball of yarn》,我也非常喜欢，这幅画是我画的我的一个梦。而做这个梦又源于我看到了他画的一幅大海上的船只的绘画。在这样的关联十分有趣，而且让我感觉到了生命的神秘性。
我看到的立的那幅画是：海和向日葵。
然后，我就做了一个梦。梦中我的眼前是大海。海上漂浮着一个城市的剪影。有个声音告诉我，那一切都是梦幻，真实在你的身后。我回转身，看到的仍是大海，海上仍漂浮一个城市的剪影。但我看到无数的人排着一条一望无际的队伍，通往一个茫茫的世界。我逝去的母亲漂浮在空中，如同一个布娃娃。
《小女孩与毛线团》与它的英文版《a little girl and ball of yarn》不是简单的翻译。可以看成单独的创作。相比之下，我更喜欢《a little girl and ball of yarn》。这里，我简单分析一下这首英文的诗歌。
神秘性是立的诗歌的一个吸引人的特质。
这里spreading away很特别。避开了习惯性用法unraveling或 unrolling 毛线团，它产生出一种那样想象的超现实的视觉，spreading away有在空间里延展的意象，但又很难想象毛线团的spreading away。
my dream breaks. 同样是一个超现实的奇异的描述。给人复杂的感受，又难以说明和想象。它非常妙。毛线团延伸到梦边缘，小女孩既可能是站在梦中，又可能站在梦外，那么这个梦既可以是作者的梦境，也可能是作者在观看一个梦，或者是毛线团在一个梦中延伸到梦的边缘，而这个梦又在一个更大的梦里，那个作者也就在一个梦里看着或做着又一个梦。当毛线团spreading到梦的边缘，梦突然break，是在一个梦中突然梦醒，但同时又不过是进入了另一个梦中，梦的超现实的break让人感到梦醒其实依然是一场梦幻。短短一个诗句，浓缩着电影《盗梦空间》中的现实与梦境之间无法辨别清楚的困境。这就是诗的魅力。
ball of yarn当然让人想到希腊神话阿里阿德涅的毛线团。阿里阿德涅是克里特国王米诺斯的女儿。克里特王国有座迷宫，里面囚禁着人身牛首的怪物米诺托。后来，雅典王子忒修斯要去杀死怪物。爱上他的少女阿里阿德涅，给了他一个红线团，告诉他用毛线在迷宫中标记进入的路线，这样就可以走出迷宫。于是，忒修斯杀死米诺托，然后带走了阿里阿德涅，但在回家的途中将睡梦中的阿里阿德涅抛弃在纳克索斯岛。
然而，在这首诗歌里没有迷宫，而是一个广漠空旷的空间，那个拿着毛线团的小女孩充满了困惑，不知道往哪个方向走。毛线团滚落到梦断开的边缘，这个神奇的毛线团在这个虚无的空间里毫无作用，无法帮助那个小女孩或者诗人走出虚无。这可能才是这首诗的意义。
在little与 huge /vast 之间的对比中，人几乎渺小凝聚成一点。在这样一种对比里，而毛线团无论多么的具有指引性，也无法从这广袤的虚无中有任何效用。因为它仅仅只能从虚无的一个点到另一个点，而无法走出来；与那个希腊神话相比，这个毛线团与空间更具有了现代性，那就是人即便走出了迷宫，却面临着人生更大的困境，生命中所无法摆脱的虚无。
在这首诗歌里，小女孩与叙述者之间的关系很奇妙。诗人似乎既是那个小女孩，又是一个观察者；既在梦境里，又在梦境之外，这一种双重的存在增加了存在的复杂性与神秘感。但也可能是一种爱恋的关系，或许暗示着两个人无法突破各自的梦的边缘走进对方的梦中。
最后，我特别喜欢"undissolved"的使用。我开始曾困惑为什么不用"unsolved"，破解，不用"Solve"，解决?为什么用无法溶解呢? 仔细品味之后我感觉到它的奇妙。生命中有许多无法溶解的东西。它们横亘在我们的生活里，既是我们生活中的一部分，又永远无法成为我们的生活的一部，生命的一部分，它们不是无法被破解，而是永远无法被溶解。
而与"undissolved"形成对照的是，诗的结束，那在蓝色冰冷的深海中纷纷涌现升起的气泡，有着瞬间的光亮，它们空虚，轻盈，在向上漂浮的过程中又纷纷破裂化为虚无。
