Ice officers expected all of this so they started this operation knowing exactly what they were going to see. these ice operations, these raids, what they're doing is sending that message that if you stay here under a deportation order, we are going to find you and we are going to deport you. that has a deterrent effect that we'll see on the border. it's a great operation in that we tell people that you cannot just come to the united states, break our laws with impunity and expect to just be let go and never be looked for. so it is a good message. >> sandra: you reference some of the criticism...
