Exactly 35 years after the last day anyone had seen Lisa Maas alive over 60 volunteers spent the anniversary combing through seven sites of interest around Annan hoping to find a trace of the missing woman. "I want my friend to have some peace," said Shelley Pearce. Pearce went to school with Maas in Owen Sound. "No one deserves just to be dumped."
Lois Hanna and Lisa Maas never met, but they are linked together forever. The two midwestern Ontario natives both went missing in July of 1988 under suspicious circumstances.
