The film’s release date was moved a number of times to work around the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
No Time To Die was previously due for release on April 2, 2021 before another national lockdown in the UK was announced and its release was moved to October 8, 2021.
Lennix is taking to the screen next month in the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
The Snyder Cut will reintroduce Lennix as Commander Calvin Swanwick, a military personnel who keeps tabs on Superman (Henry Cavill).

The COVID-19 pandemic already forced several big pictures to delay their release dates or skip theaters altogether in 2020, and so far, 2021 isn’t shaping up to be a better year for films, with several highly anticipated titles facing another round of pushed back premiere dates because of the ongoing health crisis.
Highly anticipated films in 2020, such as Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” and Disney’s live-action “Mulan,” adjusted their releases, as did other films, due to the pandemic, but according to Entertainment Weekly, some films that had also initially planned on 2020 outings that delayed until 2021 are once again finding themselves pushed back—including highly anticipated follow-ups, such as “No Time To Die,” the latest James Bond title, and the follow-up to John Krasinski’s “A Quiet Place.”

The British actor’s final appearance as James Bond will finally be shown in theatres this October after the film was delayed for a third time due to the coronavirus pandemic. Craig, 52, portrayed secret agent 007 for the first time 15 years ago in Casino Royale and has regularly voiced his frustration with the iconic role. After No Time To Die’s release, Craig’s successor will be announced to front the 59-year-old franchise.

No Time To Die: Daniel Craig's bond film delayed again as Covid cases continue to skyrocket

Daniel Craig's bond film No Time To Die delayed again
The 25th 'James Bond' installment 'No Time to Die,' starring Daniel Craig has been postponed yet again. The movie will now release in theatres on October 8. It was originally scheduled to open on April 2 after it was postponed from the 2020 release. According to Variety, the delay in release is hardly a surprise as Hollywood has been widely anticipating that 'No Time to Die' would face another delay as coronavirus cases continue to skyrocket.
MGM is rolling out 'No Time to Die' in North America, while Universal has international rights. Since the movie carries a massive price tag around USD 200 million, it relies on substantial global ticket sales to turn a profit. That's nearly impossible to achieve at a time when most movie theatres are closed, and the few that remain open have been operating at a reduced capacity.

Of course, when the pandemic hit, No Time To Die was the first major spring blockbuster to lead the release date evacuation back to late 2020 or even 2021.
November came and it was all looking good for Bond, with an official podcast for the new film releasing its first episode.
However, with the second lockdown looming, EON Productions, MGM and Universal Pictures made the tough decision of delaying No Time To Die once again to April 2, 2020.
And now here we are again, this time in a third national lockdown, as Craig’s final mission as 007 is pushed back to October 2021.

Here we go yet again. While it’s yet to be officially announced, a fifth delay for Daniel Craig’s final James Bond movie is now looking extremely likely. With the pandemic on-going, even the 2020 releases that moved to 2021 are probably going to have to move again, especially if they’re set to arrive in cinemas before the summer. Sony have already moved their Jared Leto Marvel movie Morbius to October from March.
