accumulations gathering some snow showers down north sea coast, a few down on the irish sea coast in towards pembrokeshire, perhaps even as far south as south west england, over the higher ground. but for most, it's going to be a sunny day, a very cold day. when you factor in the northerly wind, it's going to feel more like these values suggest, perhaps down to —6 to —8 celsius for northern scotland. so bitterly cold. tuesday, some further snow showers across northern scotland. then we could see this area of cloud and rain which could turn wintry with some snow for northern ireland, the rest of scotland, northern england, perhaps north wales as we move through the day. but tending to stay dry with some sunshine across southern areas again, it's going to be another very cold one. that feature runs across the country into the north. further snow showers across the north. i don't think we'll see any problems across southern britain with that low pressure system to bring some snow there. so it looks like it's going to stay dry, but for this upcoming week stays cold with the risk of snow in the north and severe overnight frost.

a few bit of cloud to eastern scotland and eastern parts of england. the odd patch of drizzle at times, too. the breeze is still a feature along north sea coast. where we have the clear skies, it's going to be a cold one. a little less cold. temperatures may be up a degree, but it certainly won't feel like that. as we move through thursday night, we see plenty of cloud feeding into england and wales. it's here where we will see the lowest of the temperatures.

thanks to high pressure. and there will be some sunshine around, particularly towards southern and western areas. this area of high pressure has been feeding in quite a bit of cloud to eastern scotland, also eastern parts of england, the odd patch of drizzle at times too. the breeze is still a feature along north sea coast, but not as strong across southern areas as we head through this evening and overnight where we have the clear skies, it's going to be a cold one. central northern western scotland, southern england could be down to —3 to —5 celsius here, but a little less cold where we have the cloud. so tomorrow then we start off with some cloud across some eastern areas. again, eastern england seeing most of that cloud, it could run a little bit further southwards into south east england into the afternoon. so the rest of the sunshine towards this southwest corner, maybe northern ireland and plenty of sunshine across scotland after a cold start there with some early mist and fog. temperatures maybe up a degree, eight degrees, but it certainly won't feel like that. then as we move through thursday nights, we see plenty of cloud feeding into england and wales, clearer spells across scotland, northern ireland. so it's here where we'll see the lowest. the temperatures could be down to minus seven celsius. and there's also a threat of some dense fog patches developing
