Fiance of teacher who had sex with her student is accused of rape

12:32 EDT, 13 May 2021
The fiancé of a geography teacher who admitted to having sex with her 14-year-old student has vowed 'never to leave' her - just hours before appearing in court accused of raping a teenager he met on Snapchat.
Mohammed Krayem, 22, stunned his friends by insisting he would stick by his fiancee Monica Elizabeth Young, 24, after she pleaded guilty to three charges of aggravated sexual intercourse without consent with a teenage pupil.
But in a shock twist, Krayem fronted Bankstown Local Court on Thursday facing his own sexual assault charges.
The 22-year-old was charged with sexual intercourse without consent following an alleged incident in a carpark in Sydney's western suburbs last year, 7 News reported.
