NORWALK — The city plans to expand its partnership with local health care providers and offer more clinics, as the eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccines grows to residents 55 and older starting Monday.
Officials are preparing for the expansion of eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine to Connecticut residents 55 and older. The expansion, announced by Gov. Ned Lamont on Monday, goes into effect on March 1.
To date, the Norwalk Health Department has administered more than 3,100 vaccine doses, city spokesperson Josh Morgan said. About 12 percent of Norwalk residents have received at least the first dose of the vaccine, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data.
