Festive greetings home from local soldiers on UN duty abroad

It's a Christmas very far from home for members of the 27th Battalion who are serving on UN missions around the world. From Syria to Lebanon, and the West African country of Mali, Dundalk soldiers left behind the comforts of home earlier this year to serve overseas. The largest contingent are serving in the Golan heights, where they are nearly half way through their six month tour of duty. Others, such as Lt.
