Budapest to Begin Upgrade of Danube Embankments The Budapest municipal council will begin the upgrade of the Danube embankments by renovating the section of the Pest embankment between Kossuth Square and Margaret Bridge, Gergely Karácsony, the city’s mayor, said on Friday.
