Opposition Political Parties Allege Illegal Arrest, Detention Of Electoral Officials By Nigeria's Secret Police, DSS For Leaking Voter Registration Fraud In Imo, Other States
The opposition political parties in Nigeria under the aegis of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of desperately using security agents to intimidate officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission. The opposition parties alleged that operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) particularly are used to attack, arrest and intimidate officials of the electoral body for leaking information about voter registration fraud in Imo and other states in the country.
