As watching bitcoin's price fluctuations becomes the norm, financial advisors are finding clients increasingly want to get in on the action.
For advisors, that presents a new challenge as to how to integrate cryptocurrencies into portfolios.
One expert who is betting the trend continues says the first step is to get educated.

As investors become more interested in cryptocurrencies, financial advisors are feeling a new urgency to offer the investments to clients.
About 49% of advisors said clients have asked about cryptocurrencies in the past six months, up from 17% in 2020, according to the Financial Planning Association and the Journal of Financial Planning.

Onramp Invest Brings Crypto To Advisors With Advyzon Integration

Onramp Invest is providing visibility into clients' heldaway crypto assets, enabling opportunity for planning—and billing.
Portfolio management technology provider Advyzon is integrating with Onramp Invest, a cryptocurrency “integration platform as a service,” according to announcements by Advyzon and Onramp Invest. Also integrating with Onramp Invest are indices provider CF Benchmarks and crypto custodians Gemini and Prime Trust. An integration with CRM provider Wealthbox is “on the roadmap,” according to Onramp Invest co-founder and CEO Tyrone Ross.
The integration is designed to give advisors using Advyzon transparency into their clients’ crypto assets, and by extension, the ability to provide advice and bill on the assets, according to executives and pilot advisors.
