Gulf oil leak for good. but bp insists it s only a temporary setback and that the busted well should be permanently fixed soon. diana alvear is joining us now with the very latest. hi, diana. reporter: vinita, rob, good morning. operation static kill has suffering another setback. bp announced a small leak has been found at the static well site and that must be repaired before the static kill can happen again. that s estimated to happen some time today. the operation will involve pumping mud into the damaged well. that will help plug it permanently. engineers are deciding whether or not to seal it off with cement. what they will do is they will start pumping mud at a low rate. reporter: in a second round of testing, the environmental protection agency found when dispersants were fix mixed with the crude oil that gushed in the gulf, the result is no more toxic to marine life than the oil itself. ....
