KOTA KINABALU: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has seized a tugboat with nine foreign crew members and one skipper on board for offences under the Merchant Shipping Ordinance (MSO) 1952 off Labuan.
PUTRAJAYA: Six men, including three foreigners, believed to be part of a subsidised cooking oil smuggling syndicate, were arrested during an Op Tiris raid at two premises located at the Sg Lalang industrial area in Sg Petani, Kedah on Sunday (April 9).
PADANG BESAR: The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) seized 26,000 litres of subsidised diesel worth RM55,900 through an Ops Tiris raid it conducted on a wholesaler’s premises here at 1pm on Saturday (April 8).
