Orvis Game Fair Located a short drive north of NYC off the Taconic Parkway, Sandanona in autumn is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful and historic Hudson Valley region and all it has to offer. The Pillowcase Project September is National Preparedness Month! The Pillowcase Project is a preparedness program for kids in grades 3-5. American Red Cross volunteers wil teach them about personal and family preparedness, safety skills, local hazards and basic coping skills. Upon completion, students receive a FREE sturdy pillowcase in which to build their personal emergency supplies kit.
