Maharashtra on Thursday recorded 2,813 new coronavirus cases, the highest in nearly four months, PTI reported
States/UTs have also been advised to continue implementation and monitoring of necessary measures for prompt and effective management of Covid-19 and to ensure compliance with various advisories issued by the Health Ministry.
The civil aviation regulator further warned that such passengers will be removed from the aircraft before departure if they are found without a face mask and not following COVID-appropriate behaviour.
Wednesday's cases are the highest since May 15 when Delhi logged 613 Covid cases with a positivity rate of 2.74 per cent and three deaths.
