The feature for on-site registration and appointment has now been enabled for the 18-44 years age group on CoWIN, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed on Monday.
However, this feature is being enabled only for government COVID Vaccination Centers (CVCs) at present, it said.
The health ministry said that this feature will not be available for private CVCs and they will have to publish their vaccination schedules exclusively with slots for online appointments.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 3 — Sign-ups for Covid-19 vaccination in Malaysia have risen to over nine million but official statistics show that just one part of the country is close to fully registered.
Out of all 14 states and federal territories, Putrajaya was the only one with almost 100 per cent registered for the vaccine at 99.43 per cent or 56,578 individuals.

The registration for vaccination against the Covid-19 infection for all above the age of 18 years will begin today (April 28) at 4 pm on the Co-WIN portal and Aarogya Setu app. The inoculation process and documents to be provided to get the Covid-19 vaccine will remain the same. While walk-ins will not be allowed to avoid chaos at the vaccination centres, those aged 45 years and above can still go for on-site registration to get the Covid-19 vaccines.

New Delhi: All those aged above 18 can  register themselves on the 
CoWIN portal or using the Aarogya Setu app to get vaccinated against COVID-19 starting 4 pm on Wednesday, the Union Health Ministry said as the government gears up to launch the third phase of vaccination drive from 1 May.

Government apps, CoWin and Aarogya Setu have begun COVID 19 vaccine registration for 18+ from today. The actress in the video said that if we can't be the solution then we should not be the problem, too. Speaking in Hindi, she said: "The entire world is battling this pandemic and it has affected everyone, and I feel a lot of people are feeling disheartened. They feel negative and de-motivated."
Kangana added: "I would like to say that this is not the time for self-pity because people who are really battling this, don't have the time to feel disheartened. For those who are over-thinking, let me tell you every generation somewhere has fought epidemics or pandemics, be it the Spanish flu, tuberculosis or plague. So, why do you think you are special?"
