Dana Gas, a leading natural gas company in the Middle East, and its partner, Crescent Petroleum, have reported record gas production from its operations in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI), which surged to 452 million cu ft of gas per day by 2021-end.

It marked a 107 per cent year-on-year rise over the $182m it received in 2020.

Dana Gas, the Middle East's largest regional private sector natural gas company, said that its collections from the KRI and Egypt rose 107% year-on-year in 2021 to $377 million (AED1.38 billion) from $182 million (AED667 million) in 2020.
