A former Brunswick resident who was arrested a year ago to face a murder charge in the 1975 killing of a Navy dental technician is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 8 in San Diego Superior Court.
Dennis Lepage, 63, is being held without bail at the San Diego County jail on a charge of first-degree murder, according to the San Diego sheriff’s online inmate records.  If convicted under the 1975 statues he would face a sentence of 7 years to life in prison.

Nine more residents are dead in Albany County because of the coronavirus, but four of those deaths occurred at a nursing home between Dec. 12 and Jan. 3 and are only being reported now because the county just found out about them, County Executive Dan McCoy said.
“You’d hope after 10 months, we’d have the system down pat. You would think that we would have the nursing homes reporting to us,” McCoy said. “We have to talk to our county coroners, too, because they should be updating us also.”
