Cincinnati police are investigating after a 9-year-old child was hit by a car at Montana and Dartmouth in Westwood.
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A 9-year-old who suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Westwood on Tuesday is improving, according to Cincinnati police.
The child remains listed in critical condition at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where EMS crews transported him following the crash. His condition stabilized on Tuesday night.
The crash happened at 2:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of Montana Avenue, according to a CPD statement.

HAMILTON, Ohio (FOX19) - Karen Riegert was sentenced to 10 years in jail and three years of probation after she hit and killed a pedestrian in Hamilton on Jan. 20.
Police said Miranda Perry, 28, was walking in the 1300 block of Millville Avenue around 2:20 p.m. when she was hit by the 62-year-old Riegert, who fled from the scene.
According to the police report, Riegert was weaving back and forth on the roadway when she went off the right side and struck Perry.

SHARONVILLE, Ohio (FOX19) - The victim shot and killed Monday afternoon at a Sharonville Rally’s was identified as Michael Brice, 32, according to police.
The shooting happened around 12 p.m. at 2225 E. Sharon Road, Sharonville Police said.
Brice, who is from Springfield Township, was shot multiple times as he was ordering food at the drive-thru, police said. Brice was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the male suspect is still at large and is described as 6-feet tall, 250 pounds, and wearing an all blue work-style uniform. The suspect’s vehicle is a 1997 green Ford Thunderbird with Ohio plate HFZ9451. The car has damage to the rear passenger window.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati broke a 120-year-old snowfall record overnight with 2.3 inches of snow recorded at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
The previous record was 1.5 inches on this date in 1901, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
We are waking up to 1 to 4 inches of wet, heavy snow that fell across the Tri-State overnight - and that’s causing some problems on a few secondary roads and hundreds of power outages.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati broke a 120-year-old snowfall record overnight with 2.3 inches of snow recorded at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
The previous record was 1.5 inches on this date in 1901, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
Overall, are waking up to 1 to 4 inches of wet, heavy snow that fell overnight.
This is causing some problems on a few secondary roads and more than 750 power outages.
Most roads and interstates are clear for your Wednesday morning commute due to warm pavement temperatures, but this heavy snow is weighing down some tree limbs and power lines.

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash.
Dispatch says the crash happened in the 1400 block of US 50 in front of a facility called Teen Challenge around 11:10 a.m.
The preliminary investigation revealed Phillip Grubb, 54 of Hamilton was operating his Dodge Grand Caravan eastbound on U.S. Route 50. Cheryl Grubb, age 57 was a passenger in his vehicle.
Daniel Vice, age 64 of was operating a dump truck westbound on U.S. Route 50 when he traveled left of center and struck the left rear of Grubb’s vehicle.
