BHUBANESWAR: Day after chief minister Naveen Patnaik wrote to his ministerial colleagues about performance review of various departments from May 15, the ministers said the move would help in strengthening and improving governance.
The ministers are gearing up to hold meetings with senior officers of their respective departments to prepare the list of important achievements of respective departments as asked by the chief minister.
“Performance review of departments is an annual affair as we believe in delivering what we have promised to the people. Whatever assignments have been given to me by the chief minister during the pandemic, I have delivered sincerely. I will present the achievements of our department,” labour minister Susanta Singh said. ....
