The Ministry of Home Affairs proposes to fill 1.30 lakh Constable (General Duty) positions in the CRPF. According to the Ministrys notification, a total of 129929 positions will be filled, with 125262 reserved for male candidates and 4467 reserved for female candidates. For selection to the position of Constable, 10% of the openings will be designated for Ex-Agniveers.
