The highlight, as far as the Indian market is concerned, is the new 490 range of bikes. The KTM 490 range of bikes is set to debut in 2022 and will include a total of five models. Views : 7552 There are going to be not two, not three, but five new bikes in the lineup! KTM just seems to be an endless stream of good news at the moment. We recently spotted the Austrian manufacturer trialling MAJOR upgrades to the 125, 250 and 390 Duke models, and now the next bit of good news is concerning the eagerly awaited 490 model range. A recent presentation by Pierer Mobility (KTM’s parent group) shows that the 490s will debut in the 2022 model year, meaning that we could lay eyes on them towards the end of this year. But wait, that’s not all.

There’s little in the way of proper info about the bike although they do say it will have a top speed of 28mph and a maximum range of 65 miles, which pretty much limits it to buzzing around town. Alongside the Vektorr, Husky also unveiled a folding e-scooter called the Bltz (presumably missing an 'i' because they spent all the budget on the extra R in Vektorr) both of which join the recently revealed E-Pilen. The Bltz produces a claimed 0.7bhp and is said to be capable of 12.4mph - enough for a quick blast across town after stepping off public transport.

  A little over a year back, Husqvarna had revealed its electric plans. The lineup included an electric scooter, a stand-up e-scooter, and a sweet-looking electric motorcycle -- that has already been revealed, christened the E-Pilen. Read more about it here.
